Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is based on the scientific model. All the strategies, tools and techniques that you will learn in therapy are based on evidence and there are experimental studies that support their effectiveness.


The approach is didactic. Much of who you are has to do with what you have learned throughout your life, from your experiences, from the people you have interacted with, and even from the place where you were born. But human beings can continue learning all our lives, without limits. My goal with the therapy is that, when you leave, you have the feeling of having acquired new learning, tools to continue growing and improving.


It is normal that you come to the first visit nervous, or that you don't even know where to start. Don't worry about that, I will guide you until you find all the aspects you need to work on.


The duration of the therapy will depend on the problem that brings you to the consultation, on your involvement in the treatment, on the vital events that appear in the process... But I don't usually do long interventions. In general, it is a brief approach.


If your schedule, your place of residence, or any other reason prevents you from coming to therapy in person, you can also choose online therapy. All the tools and techniques that I use in therapy can also be explained in this way without losing quality in the intervention.


I try to make the therapeutic relationship close, welcoming and as warm as possible in order to favour the space of intimacy that you need to open up and favour communication.


What kind of problems can we work with?


I do therapy with children, adolescents and adults. The most common problems I see in consultation are:

  • Anxiety disorders
  • Depression
  • Developmental crises
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Relationship problems and social skills
  • Family problems
  • Couple problems
  • Behavioural problems in children and adolescents


Sometimes, life presents obstacles that are difficult to overcome because we lack skills, or are not strong enough, or because we feel powerless in the face of adversity. If you feel the time has come to ask for help, don't delay.
